I come from a quaint farming town alongside the Canadian border in Washington State. In 1994, during a business trip to San Diego, I found myself magnetically drawn to the lifestyle and vibe, and I knew it was where I belonged. Upon returning from that trip, I made the bold decision to resign from my job, pack my belongings into a truck, and set off for San Diego. It was a leap of faith that I've never regretted—I've called San Diego home ever since.
